- Visit the "Parque Condor" (birds reserve) close to Otavalo.
- Day trips to the colonial centre of Ibarra and the Valle del Chota, the ethnic center of the afro-ecuadorian culture.
- Mountain Biking
- Yoga and meditation enthusiasts will certainly find a peaceful spot in the large garden for practice!

Here you might relax in the lovely garden, chill out in a hammock while watching out for tiny hummingbirds, listening to the singing of a variety of native birds and enjoying the magnificent views of the legendary Imbabura and Cotacachi volcanoes.
Location: About 750 meters from the centre of Cotacachi, in the small and safe indigenous community of “Pilchibuela”. Walking the short distance might give you a good opportunity to catch a glimpse of typical everyday life in the Sierra!
